In the traditional design-bid-build delivery model, an architect creates a design package and bids it out to independent contractors for the building phase. The added steps of creating, requesting and processing bids required for this process can add months to project schedules, while the required coordination of project teams can lead to difficulties with accountability as well as hamper collaborative work. This translates to added cost and time while potentially reducing quality and increasing the opportunity for errors.

Wiese Hefty provides fully integrated design and construction. Our construction project manager, who understands the feasibility and expenses of design components, is involved from the initial design phase, and the architect is involved throughout the construction phase. With a single responsible party and point of contact, we improve timeline control, efficiency and overall accountability.
